Tapping Level 5
– In the case of four note arpeggios, we play the shapes already seen in the string skipping level 2 with the hammer on from nowhere technique adding this time a tapping note on each string.
– In the case of pentatonic scales, nothing changes in terms of basic mechanics and shapes used, but we’re adding a note on each string.
-In the case of triads, it is necessary to remove the seventh from any shapes used in the four note arpeggios. This makes the synchronization between the two hands a bit more complex.
In this part, you will practise the following aspects:
– four note arpeggios with tapping
– pentatonic scales with tapping
– triads with tapping
We recommend to experiment with these licks on every shape you know so that you improve your confidence in moving smoothly along the keyboard.
