In this fourth section dedicated to tapping, we see how to perform three notes per string scales with hammer on from nowhere and tapping.

Full details

The best indication for a combination of hammer on from nowhere and tapping is when you play scale-based phrases beyond the twelfth fret: over there, the space is too little to play legato in a very comfortable way, for example.

In this part, you will practise the following aspects:
– hammer-on from nowhere combined with tapping
– muting on open strings

We suggest to play the proposed licks in all the keys and all the three-note shapes per string that you know.
