All started with the pursuit for a louder amplifier. The outcome was a family of great amplifiers manufactured by Marshall between 1965 and 1969 and known as “Plexi” because of the gleaming Plexiglas panel. The power and characteristic 100 watt tone is surely link to the talent of the Who and Jimi Hendrix, just to name a few.
