On a reggae rhythm we play a Am key lick based on tapping and whammy bar.

Full details

– In the first measure do your best for a fine coordination between your left hand and the tapped notes. The result will be an execution with a perfect timing.

– In the second measure try to keep under control the dive of the whammy bar on the G note. Avoiding vibrations and too sudden jerks or descents. This is where you look for the best integration between your tapping and the whammy bar.

– The most technically demanding part is the third measure: the slides must be very precise so that the sextuplets can be performed precisely on time. Also pay attention to the final slide and dive, all played the second bar.
