This study recalls a famous solo by David Gilmour. Styling Pink Floyd on the D minor pentatonic scale, where 9 (E) is frequently added for a very "Gilmourian" flavour.

Full details

To achieve the best execution, pay close attention to the pitch of the numerous bends. Also other small details such as rake or the different intensity of vibratos make a big difference.

It’s impossible to put in writing all these finer points although it’s where the magic is! We therefore recommend to watch the video very carefully.

As for the sound, we suggest a very dynamic and slightly saturated sound and the use of a single coil pick up at the neck.

After styling Pink Floyd, try also a lick inspired by Led Zeppelin!
