Full details
– In the first bar you find jumps of 5 (between notes A and E) and jumps of b7 (between notes A and G). If you look at the rhythm, there is an unsettling shift of accents due to five sixteenths note sorganised in quadruplets.
– In the second bar, there are again large interval 5 and b7 jumps. Next, the phrasing repeats three times a melody consisting of six sixteenth notes which is played by inserting a sixteenth rest after the first and third repetition, but not after the second. The resulting pattern will be a 7 + 6 + 7 sixteenths on a rhytmic division into quadruplets of sixteenths.
– A fourth repetition begins at third beat of the last measure.
