Don’t Lose The Beat
The phrase presents a sixteenth note sequence with a rhythmic pattern of 3 + 2 + 2.
On the second string, the notes F # and F alternate with the note B played with the open string.
– The first repetition starts with the F # for group of 3. Then continues with the F for group of 2 and returns to F # for the last group of 2.
– The second repetition reverses the initial sequence. It starts from F for the group of 3, going to F # for the first group of 2, and returning to F for the last group of 2. We suggest starting slowly with the help of a metronome and trying to count the individual groups : don’t lose the beat!
